X Series XM
The XM is built for everyday freshwater fishing. Matched to a 4- or 5-weight rod, it’s the right tool for trout on rivers, bass in lakes, and the most common freshwater species most anglers pursue. Approachable enough for someone new to the sport, the XM is capable enough to stay on your rod for years.

Obsessively engineered.
The standard exists because we set it. Built in Miami to a level the industry is still chasing.

XCT Drag
Carbon fiber and Teflon sealed drag system. Oversize, textured knob adjusts easily in slimy, wet, or cold conditions.
Giga Arbor
Fast line pickup and faster backing drying. Larger arbor diameter means more line per handle turn, less line memory, more control.
Dual Palming Rim
Better hand control during the fight. Rear palming rim also protects the spool from impact damage.
Open-Frame Design
Engineered for lightness, strength, and spool protection. Machined in Miami, USA.
Carbon fiber and Teflon. Smooth drag built for light lines.
The XCT Drag System
The XCT drag combines carbon fiber and Teflon discs to deliver consistent, friction-free resistance at light drag settings where it matters most. At 3 and 4 weight line classes, startup inertia -- the sudden jerk when a fish first runs -- is the most common cause of broken tippets. The XCT eliminates that. Drag engages instantly and releases line without hesitation, giving you smooth, predictable control from the first run to the last.
What It Is
Carbon fiber and Teflon disc drag system, sealed against water and debris. Tuned for light to medium drag settings with consistent performance across the full adjustment range.
What It Means on the Water
Set your drag before you fish and trust it. No startup jerk, no tippet-popping surprises. Smooth engagement from the moment a fish takes line, whether that's a 10-inch brookie or your first fish ever.
